Ruby Valley Conservation District and Madison Valley Conservation District Joint Banquet - Saturday, April 9th from 5:30-12am at the Virginia City Elks Lodge

Join us for an evening of music, food, and live entertainment as we celebrate the work of the Madison and Ruby Valley Conservation Districts!  Beginning at 5:30pm with no host cocktails, dinner will be served at 6:00pm by Carol Wilcox, followed by a short presentation by the Conservation Districts.  Then the Dillon Junior Fiddlers will take the stage at 7:15, and at 8:00pm, strap on your dancing shoes and kick up your heels with The Ruby Valley Boys and Barbwire until midnight. 
 
This is a great opportunity for a night out with your friends and neighbors from Madison County and beyond.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for juniors and available at both the RVCD and RWC offices.

Neighborhood Resource Day - Friday, June 24
Join the RVCD & RWC for an evening of interactive education on the natural world around you, and great food and beverages at the Madison County Fairgrounds.  More Details TBA!!! - Check back soon!

2011 Projects

The RWC and RVCD will be working on a variety of projects during 2011, some varied over from 2010 and some new.  Here is a list of a few projects our staff are currently engaged in.

Best Conservation Practices
 
Would you like to improve habitat on your property?  Do you have livestock corrals or watering sites on a stream?  Do you have a major erosion issue?
 
These are just some of the questions that our agency partners can answer, and have programs to help you do conservation projects on your property.  Check out the links below for specific programs designed to provide landowners with technical and financial assistance for best conservation practices.
