Ruby Valley Conservation District Since 1939, the goal of the Ruby Valley Conservation District is to create sustainable resources through promotion of education, conservation and restoration practices.
|

|
Today, the RVCD and the Ruby Watershed Council provide information and education on many projects, programs and efforts of individuals and agencies. The Conservation District also sponsors and manages many of its own programs as well as providing a forum for all interested members of the community to come together for natural resource conservation and planning. The RVCD Board meets on the first Wednesday of every month and is comprised of a cross-section of locally elected supervisors, representing local ranchers, business people, and conservationists. An equal amount of RVCD meeting time is spent on 310 permits, NRCS and watershed planning. |
